Recently, the "Pulse Eddy Current Testing Technology Training" sponsored by the China Special Equipment Inspection Association was successfully held in Yinchuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. The event was participated by Henan Dellon Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. to provide technical support. A total of 29 people from 19 units across the country Students participated in this training activity.
This training invited relevant experts from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Guodian Electric Power Research Institute and other units to provide special explanations and exercises for six topics of the theoretical basis of pulsed eddy current testing, pulsed eddy current testing equipment, pulsed eddy current testing standards, pulsed eddy current testing methods, pulsed eddy current testing technology, pulsed eddy current testing practical exercises (pipes/plates).
Pulsed eddy current testing is an advanced non-destructive testing technology. Because of its good penetrability, it can conduct non-stop testing of pipelines and containers without removing the protective layer. It can quickly and accurately detect cracks and corrosion and other defects on metal surfaces. It is widely used in various industrial fields such as aviation, petroleum, chemical industry, thermal power, nuclear power, metallurgy, etc., and has good application prospects. The main purpose of this training is to help practitioners better master pulsed eddy current testing technology and master the practical capabilities of pulsed eddy current testing in terms of basic principles, testing methods, testing processes, instrument operations, and data analysis.
At the training meeting, trainees from all units actively participated, carefully observed the pulsed eddy current technology and had on-site discussions. Under the teacher's patient guidance, the students' practical skills have been greatly improved.
After the meeting, the theoretical knowledge and practical skills and abilities of the participants were evaluated, and those who passed the evaluation were issued training certificates.
Through this pulse eddy current testing personnel training, trainees will acquire systematic and comprehensive pulse eddy current testing knowledge and skills to better cope with various challenges at work. In addition, we also hope that trainees can improve their skills in practical operations to better meet the needs of future work.
